Last updated: June 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Truck Test DMV iOS application ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. The service
Truck Test DMV is a study aid for the written portion of the U.S. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) exam. It provides practice questions, explanations, timed simulations, and progress tracking.
2. Subscriptions and purchases
Truck Test DMV offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier. Pro is available as auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly or annual) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Pricing is shown in the App Store in your local currency.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial. A free trial, if offered, automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
- Cancellation. You can manage and cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Bypass or attempt to bypass paywalls, license checks, or rate limits
- Copy, redistribute, or republish question content without permission
- Use the app to violate any law or any third party's rights
4. Study aid disclaimer
Truck Test DMV is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any state Department of Motor Vehicles, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), or any other government agency. The actual CDL examination can only be administered in person by your state DMV.
Question content is based on publicly available state CDL manuals, but regulations change. You are responsible for consulting your state's official CDL manual and your state DMV's current requirements before taking the exam.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its content, design, and trademarks are owned by Truck Test DMV. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your own CDL study.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truck Test DMV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the app — including, without limitation, failing or being delayed in obtaining your CDL. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the app or to specific features if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
